He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he was awarded the Excellence in Ophthalmology award. After completing his Residency in Ophthalmology from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, he completed his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. There, he evaluated and cared for the majority of retina patients with complicated conditions referred to UPMC.
He is a professional member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society of Retina Specialists, Long Island Ophthalmological Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, and Vit-Buckle Society. In addition, he serves on the Board for the Philippine Chinese American Medical Association.
Dr. Coe has been privileged to serve the Queens and Long Island community since 2011, where he has built thousands of lasting patient relationships. As a native New Yorker who grew up in a family of physicians, he was drawn to Ophthalmology as a field where he could change lives through cutting-edge surgical technology and still enjoy getting to know patients through personal office visits.
